Disarmed (2020)

Disarmed is Phase 1 of 3 for the Kansas City Community Film Project (KCCFP). The purpose of this project is to use art as a way to bridge gaps, breakdown barriers, and produce peaceful outcomes between communities.

From Kansas City, Missouri we plan to launch globally. Phase 1 focuses on the relationship between the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) and the served community. This video acts as a demonstration of the power of art and its ability to bring people together and have discussion.

Phase 2 (of 3) for the Kansas City Community Film Project. The purpose of this project is to use film as a way to bridge gaps, breakdown barriers, and produce peaceful outcomes.

The film will act as an incentive for different communities to set aside differences and come to the table building meaningful relationships through an artistic journey of filmmaking. This trailer serves as a proof of concept for the SAPIENS feature length film series.
